The latest TransNAT publication from Dhara D. et al. has been published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society. Research led by Professor Tom Brown from Oxford University, developed methods to efficiently synthesise therapeutic oligonucleotides containing charge-neutral backbone linkages. The method also allows us to introduce additional functionality such as carbohydrates throughout the oligonucleotide backbone. Preliminary exon-skipping cell studies show promise.
